"Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it."-William Penn

"Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it."- William Penn

I think this means that the right thing you do, you might be the only one doing it but who cares it is still the right thing to do no matter what other people think or are against it. For example, if you go to school and you're the only one with uniform and %100 people are not it doesn't mean its wrong it is still right no matter what. And wrong is wrong, for example, if you go to party and everyone is smoking that does not mean that you need to smoke to too. That is is wrong no matter what even if everyone is doing it. This is why you need to CTR and not CTW.

"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often"-Peter Vidmar
I think this means that you can make a life planning goal journal, for example if you want to watch tv and you need to do your homework well you need to do homework first and then tv. Don’t sacrifice something CTR and think about what decisions you make. This is why you need to wait for the goals you write and it will come often. But they need to be good goals and not bad goals because you do not want a bad future you want a good future with some amazing and good goals.

School Homecoming

School Homecoming
What is Homecoming?Homecoming is an annual tradition in the United States. People, towns, high schools, and colleges come together, usually in late September or early October, to welcome back alumni and former residents. It is built around a central event, such as a banquet and, most often, a game of football, or, on occasion, basketball, ice hockey or soccer. When celebrated by schools, the activities vary widely. However, they usually consist of a football game played on a school's home football field, activities for students and alumni, a parade featuring the school's marching band and sports teams, and the coronation of a Homecoming Queen (and at many schools, a Homecoming King). A dance commonly follows the game or the day following the game. When attached to a football game, Homecoming traditionally occurs on the team's return from the longest road trip of the season. The game itself, whether it be football or another sport, will typically feature the home team playing a considerably weaker opponent. The game is supposed to be an "easy win" and thus weaker schools will sometimes play lower division schools.
History of Homecoming:The tradition of Homecoming has its origin in alumni football games held at colleges and universities since the 19th century. Many schools including Baylor, Southwestern, Illinois, and Missouri have made claims that they've held the first modern homecoming. The NCAA, Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy!, and references from the American TV drama NCIS give the title to the University of Missouri's 1911 football game during which alumni were encouraged to attend. It was the first annual homecoming centered on a parade and a football game.
Why do we celebrate Homing in Schools? Those who return to their high school for homecoming after having graduated do so to celebrate their high school, see old friends and remember memories of that time of their lives. Students who are currently in high school celebrate homecoming to show school spirit and support whatever athletic teams and clubs are going on during that period of time.
Some events: In planning a high school homecoming, it is important to recognize the ideas that have worked well at previous homecoming celebrations, since returning alumni are likely to expect what they have experienced before. While homecoming typically centers on a football game, there is plenty of room to expand the festivities. Many schools hold a "spirit week" during the week leading up to the homecoming game, filled with pep rallies and themed days such as pajama day, crazy hat day or school colors day. Some schools hold homecoming dances or parades. Others host homecoming fairs filled with bake sales, midway games, carnival rides and food booths.Often, special parties are held just for alumni to reconnect, usually right before the football game. Sometimes schools choose a different theme each year and organize all the decorations and events around that theme.
Why is it called the Homecoming Game?  It is called that to go to your old school and see how it's like the school was like a home to you so they called it Homecoming.

Describe Homecoming Etiquette: High School Homecoming Etiquette.Homecoming , which takes place every fall, is a very important high school event. ... The tradition, now followed by most schools and states, was born. Dress. Most homecoming dances are semi-formal, although each school will specify its own dress code.

" A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches."-proverbs 22:1

I think this means that your name means everything about you it proves it you. For example, if you apply for a collage they see everything about you cause of your name and the things you did or the clubs or sports you join in. If you were arrested by the police for weed they see that cause its on your name, this is why you need to have a good name not a bad name. A good name is where you CTR (Choose the right) where you have not gotten arrested for weed or arrested at all, and the collage could let you in and you will have a perfect future a future you been working for i future you have been working hard for.

I think this means that if your setting up a goal you need to get that goal, start working for that goal. For example, If you want to lose weight you need to work hard for it and never give up, but if you CTW (Choose The Wrong) you will destroy your goal and not complete your goal that's why you need to CTR (Choose The Right) and not give up on your goal. Columbus Day

Columbus Day
All About Christopher Columbus:Explorer and navigator Columbus was born in 1451, in the Republic of Genoa (Italy) to the son of a weaver. Columbus first went to sea as a teenager, participating in several trading voyages in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas. One such voyage, to the island of Khios, in modern day Greece, brought him the closest he would come to Asia. His first voyage into the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 nearly cost him his life as the commercial fleet he was sailing with was attacked by French privateers off the coast of Portugal. His ship was burned and Columbus had to swim to the Portuguese shore and make his way to Lisbon, Portugal, where he eventually settled and married Felipa Perestrello. The couple had one son, Diego in about 1480. His wife died soon after and Columbus moved to Spain. He had a second son Fernando who was born out of wedlock in 1488 with Beatriz Enriquez de Arana.Columbus participated in several other expeditions to Africa gaining knowledge of the Atlantic currents flowing east and west from the Canary Islands. Muslim domination of the trade routes through the Middle East makes travel to India and China difficult. Believing a route sailing west across the Atlantic would be quicker and safer, Columbus devised a plan to sail west to get reach the East. He estimated the earth to be a sphere approximately 63% its actual size and the distance between the Canary Islands and Japan to be about 2,300 miles. Many contemporary nautical experts disagreed, adhering to the second century BC estimate of the earth's circumference at 25,000 miles. This made the distance between the Canary Islands and Japan about 12,200 statute miles. While experts disagreed with Columbus on matters of distance, they concurred that a westward voyage from Europe would be an uninterrupted water route.
Columbus Day:The holiday honoring Christopher Columbus's sighting of America on October 12, 1492, is observed in the states of the United States and also in parts of Canada, in Puerto Rico, and in some cities in Italy and Spain.Although Columbus was not the first explorer to set foot in the Western Hemisphere, his landing at San Salvador Island in what is now the Bahamas was very important. It opened the way for the settlement of America by Europeans. It is probable that the first celebration honoring the event was held in 1792. Columbus Day became a legal holiday in the United States in 1892, 400 years after the famous voyage. It was then called Discovery Day. Many cities and organizations sponsor parades and banquets honoring the holiday.
October 12 is celebrated in Latin American countries not only as Columbus or Discovery Day, but also as the Day of the Race (El Día de la Raza). It honors the many different peoples of Latin America. Schoolchildren in the larger cities join parades. Fiestas, sometimes lasting several days, are held in the areas with large Indian populations.

Reflection: Columbus Day is a nation day for people who live in Spain,Italy,United states, Parts of Canada, and Puerto Rico. It’s where Christopher Columbus step a foot in Western Hemisphere and they celebrated it for 400 years until now this day there still celebrating it.

This means if you want to skate then you skate, you need to keep on practicing and practicing and next thing you know you will know how to skate. But you need to never give up and try again and again and again in till you get it. For example, You want to dance if you fail you practice and practice in till you get it but you need to never give up or else you will never dance or do what you wanted to do. And we learn everything right now by doing it, by practicing it and learning it, but you never give up on what your practicing on. CTR (Choose The Right)!!!

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)

    Emergency Medical Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:EMTs or Emergency Medical Technicians are the health care professionals who initially assess the condition of the patients and determine the necessary course of action. These workers provide medical support to the patients while they are carried to the hospitals. They respond to the emergencies arising out of causalities like criminal violence, natural disasters, fires, air and land accidents, etc. Most of them render their services on a land ambulance but may also work on an air ambulance plane or helicopter. To know more about what other duties and responsibilities EMTs perform, continue reading the article.
Salary:$29,751-$37,850
Education:To become an EMT you'll need a high school diploma or GED and formal emergency training. There are three levels of EMT training. The EMT-basic covers a variety of different tasks including dealing with fractures, bleeding, cardiac emergencies and respiratory emergencies. To complete the basic coursework you'll need to pass the state written and practical exam. The EMT-intermediate training requires the basic training and the addition of 30 to 350 training hours. You'll also learn to administer intravenous fluids, some medications and manage more advanced equipment.Paramedic is the highest level of training. Paramedics are trained, usually at community colleges, in anatomy and physiology. In some cases, paramedics are awarded associates degrees for their training and finish the program prepared to take their NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) to become a licensed paramedic.
Demand for this profession:The continuously expanding need for skilled EMT”s is due primarily to overcrowding in hospitals. Hospitals and medical centers can be overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of patients flocking to the emergency departments. Overworked medical staffs are stretched too thin to attend to every patient’s needs, necessitating them to send some patients to other facilities. Situations such as these have created a need for more EMTs to safeguard patients that are being transferred elsewhere.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Or Why not?
I think i would like to be one to save people’s lives and to go quick and take them to a hospital. I can save people’s life when they are in trouble and it will be a big emergency for example if a person is dying and he can’t breath i could save a person’s life when they need my help and the salary is every good but the important part is if you like the job which i think i will.
